“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.”    --Hebrew 10:23-25

Upcoming

Help Get Out The Vote!

Reclaim Our Vote needs volunteers to make phone calls and/or send postcards.  We are reaching out to minority voters in eight states with long histories of voter suppression, to encourage voter registration and turnout--one important way to fight systemic racism.

* We’ve sent over 3000 so far, and the deadline for sending postcards has been extended to October 11.

* People are also needed to make phone calls, now and right up to election day.  Some Friends have committed to dedicating an hour each day until they elections to making calls… Every single hour is needed! Reclaim Our Vote is a non-partisan, 501(c)(3) organization supported by NAACP.

Learn more here.  Watch Suppressed: The Fight To Vote.  To join, contact Laurie Wilner, LEWilner@gmail.com or BarbaraHBriggs@gmail.com, or register directly here. You can pick up all needed materials at FMW.
