Today, September 6, the Membership, Religious Education, Ministry & Worship, and Marriage & Family Committees will meet. Also, due to popular demand (read: 4 requests), we will hold singing in the Meeting Room, starting at 10:00 am.

 

Sunday September 13: First Day School Opening: We will have a schedule of programs for Pre-k, early elementary, upper elementary, tweens and teens. Look for more details on the listserv soon. Also, the Personal Aid, Library, Adult Study Group, and Waking Up White group will meet in the morning. At noon, there will be a Meeting for Worship with a Concern for Business.

 

September 17 - 20: Quakers in Pastoral Care and Counseling Conference,  Quaker Hill Conference Center (Richmond, IN)   For more information and to register, go to www.qpcc.us.

 

September 18 - 20: BYM Fall Family Camp Weekend  Family Camp Weekends at Baltimore Yearly Meeting camps offer us all (individuals as well as families) a chance to come and enjoy the beautiful camps at a special time of year for a day or for the weekend. For details: http://bymcamps.org/family-camp-weekends-Fall-2015 In addition to the camp weekend at Opequon, there will be another one at Shiloh from October 9 to 11, and a third one at Catoctin from October 23 to 25.

 

Sunday, September 20: The Peace & Social Concerns, Trustees, Compassionate Life group, and Capital Campaign will meet. There will be a program about Nepal at noon.

 

September 24: Rally for Moral Action on Climate  Moral Action on Climate (MAC) is organizing a rally on the National Mall on Thursday, September 24, from 11:00 a.m. to noon. For details: www.moralactiononclimate.org/
