Theater Action Group performance and dialogue on race, sponsored by FMW’s Change Group for Racial Equality, Saturday, June 1, 10am to 1 pm at FMW.  This interactive theatre gives you the space to do your own learning.  It is child friendly dynamic, engaging, ethically rigorous, and fun. Friends Couple Enrichment-A Spiritual Practice, June 8, 9:30am – 4:30pm at Bethesda Friends Meeting:  Join other committed couples in this practice of supporting and nurturing your relationship’s health and growth.  With dialogue as our centerpiece, we will deepen our understanding of ourselves and each other, finding joy in connection.  $25 per couple.  Bring your own lunch.  At BFM, 5100 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda.

A memorial meeting for Susan Lepper will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Meetinghouse of the Friends Meeting of Washington, with a reception to follow in the Assembly Room at rise of meeting.  Friends who would like to serve on the Oversight Committee for the Memorial Meeting may get in touch with Sabrina McCarthy at sabrina.mccarthy@verizon.net or 240.778.5234.

The Asylum Seeker on Your Doorstep:  Friends, one of our beloved tenants is the Asylum Seeker Assistance Project (ASAP), which offers assistance in their Carriage House office to asylum seekers from all over the world. The Peace & Social Concerns committee is offering an opportunity to get to know them and their work better. You will meet staff members and asylees, learn their stories and how you can help. FAMILIES AND CHILDREN ARE WELCOME

First Day School begins at 10:30 each Sunday. If you come later than 10:30, please stay a moment with your child to help them settle into the class. Children in FDS are reunited with their parents in the final minutes of Meeting for Worship.

Child Care is available for parents needing a respite during worship. Children age 0 to 4 will be lovingly tended in the Decatur Place Room from 10:20 am to Noon on Sunday. Please contact Michael Beer at FMWYouthProgram@gmail.com for any child care related questions. Child Care is also available for all ages of children during events on our campus upon request.

Meeting for Worship 9:00 AM Sunday.  Held in the Quaker House Living Room, this Meeting for Worship has a special invitation to silence seekers. "Quietness enough not only to know our own minds, but to listen to the still small voice."  Child care is not available.  

Meeting for Worship 6:00 PM Sunday. Held in the Parlor, this Meeting for Worship offers a sustaining opportunity for worship at the end of the weekend. Child care is not available.

Mid-Week Meeting for Worship, Tuesday, 6:00 PM in the Parlor. Persons seeking to worship during the week should consider this Meeting. Child care is not available.

Martha’s Table needs nonperishable food items on an ongoing basis.  Donations are collected in the basket near the Meeting House’s Decatur Pl entrance. For more info call Pam Callard (202) 829-9577.
